Role Summary

Anthropologie is looking for an Associate Manager of Fabric. This indicidual facilitates and executes Design’s vision through sourcing and developing brand appropriate fabrics originating fromglobal markets supporting brand goals and business initiatives. Provides “one-voice” communication to mills andsuppliers acting as a liaison between, U.S. home offices, HK fabric office, and global market mills and suppliers, andworld-wide manufacturing partners. Reporting into the Fabric Director, Urban Outfitters.

Role Responsibilities

  • Help facilitate mill meetings and mill days.
  • Work with design and PD on all fabric development and sampling needs.
  • Attend weekly fabric meetings to receive fabric development and sample yardage requests. 
  • Follow up on fabric requests from design with suppliers.
  • Maintain fabric chart with ready dates and report to design and PD teams in weekly meetings.
  • Maintain the fabric library.
  • Maintain PLM with fabric POs.

Role Qualifications

  • Textile/fashion degree.
  • 7-10 years of textile experience.
  • Textile technical knowledge.
  • PLM, MICROSOFT EXCEL, POWERPOINT, GOOGLE DOCS, PHOTOSHOP/ILLUSTRATOR.
