Forklift Operator | Annacis Island

Join our team as a Full-time Forklift Operator (Warehouse Driver) at our warehouse located in Annacis Island (Delta, BC). Urban Barn is a national retail chain with over 50 retail stores across the country offering high-quality furniture and home décor. We’re all about making our customers and employees feel right at home.

Our warehouse is open Monday to Friday from 7:30-4 PM or 9-5:30PM. We are looking for candidates who are available to work 40 hours a week.

What You Will Do:

• Operate a powered stand-up order picker forklift to pick and retrieve items from multi-level warehouse racking
• Perform general warehouse functions (air and ground picking, packing, shipping, and receiving) 
• Work with large furniture pieces
• Handle inbound/outbound loads, perform cycle counts, product storage, and replenishment to stock locations
• Perform work in a safe manner, following all Health and Safety Regulations
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
• Maintain an organized and clean environment

What You Bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a multilevel stand-up order picker
• Valid certification to operate a stand-up order picker
• Positive attitude, high energy, self-motivated 
• Enjoy working in a fast paced and physically demanding team environment
• The ability to frequently lift product up to 50lbs – any heavier products are lifted and moved with the use of furniture dollies (training provided)
• Safety-oriented team player
