| Position Summary | The Dean of Students Office, in collaboration with Nusenda Federal Credit Union, is seeking an Assistant Director to help develop and advance the Nusenda Center for Financial Capability and its mission. The purpose of the Assistant Director is to engage in facilitating interactive financial literacy training with students, staff, and faculty at the University of New Mexico. This position will assist in providing resources to help students be more financially proficient and make better financial decisions that will impact the rest of their lives. Students eligible for service possess variable financial and budgeting proficiency and are actively pursuing a business degree at The James and Gail Ellis School of Business Leadership. The successful applicant will have experience giving presentations, must be dynamic and flexible, and should have interest in performing research on financial topics. This position will be customer service-oriented, but candidates should also be ready to learn client interaction and financial coaching. The successful Assistant Director will be interested in learning more about how to provide students and community members with the opportunity to better understand financial resources, responsibilities, and best practices. Assist in developing educational materials and presentations for UNM departments, organizations, and groups, including (but not limited to): New Student Orientation, ethnic resource centers, student success groups, UNM courses, student organizations.

| Preferred Qualifications | Minimum QualificationsDeclared major and/or active enrollment in the James and Gail Ellis School of Business Leadership as a business degree-seeking student Current enrollment at UNM for at least 6 credit hours (excluding audit hours) You will be great in this position if you have- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Suite products – particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel |
