What you get to do:
- Assist with the fabrication, installation/strike and maintenance/repair of various props, set pieces and décor
- Assist with daily technical checks, show operation, and maintenance of stage area
- Assist with material inventory process
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have past participation in production process and special assignments
- Able to climb a ladder and work at heights between 6 and 25 feet
- Able to stand, bend or kneel for long periods of time
- Able to bend, reach, twist and turn with complete flexibility
- Able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working in theater and outdoor environments (dark/nighttime conditions, in varying weather conditions)
- Comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations
- Able to train on and properly use protective gear
- Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts, as well as event rehearsal shifts
