Pride Center Peer Educator

- $14.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 5-10 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a welcoming environment for students and visitors in the Pride Center
- Serve as a resource for students by providing accurate and current information regarding the Pride Center and University related programs and services
- Assist the director with administrative tasks and outreach initiatives
- Provide support in planning and facilitating Pride Center events and activities
- Assist with the development of content for Pride Center Social Media
- Maintain organization of the Pride Center office supplies, resources, inventory, and shared workspace.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a current student at UND
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with public speaking and engaging in social settings
- Demonstrated awareness and understanding of LGBTQIA2S+ identities and experiences
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Must be a team player
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
