Graduate Service Assistant Accessibility Reviewer - Education and Human Development

Salary/Position Classification
- $944.44 Masters $1,194.44 Doctoral monthly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 10 hours per week
- This position requires onsite work at our Grand Forks, ND campus.
Purpose of Position
This position will assist the College of Education & Human Development in advancing digital accessibility by reviewing and editing video captions and remediating digital content for programs and courses in the College of Education & Human Development
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and edit auto-generated captions and transcripts for pre-recorded educational videos
- Review and correct other digital content, such as PDFs, as needed to ensure materials meet accessibility guidelines
Required Competencies
- Accurate data entry skills
- Strong editing skills, including grammar and spelling (English language)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle materials in a careful and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently
Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in the College of Education & Human Development as a GTA at the University of North Dakota.
- Demonstrated research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with caption or transcript editing
- Experience using Blackboard, Yuja or OneDrive
- Experience with accessibility requirements for digital content
