Your Key Accountabilities
As our Supply Chain & Procurement Senior Professional, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our Infra-red solutions business by leading strategic supply chain and procurement initiatives across an international supplier network. You will drive sourcing strategies, supplier development and outsourcing projects while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure business growth, operational excellence and supply continuity.
- Lead Supply Chain workstreams supporting the Infra-red business growth program.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key categories, with a focus on metalwork components.
- Translate business operational needs into a resilient supply strategy (e.g., dual sourcing, regional approach) and planning and manage direct spend (incl. duties)
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and drive supplier performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Umicore global sustainable sourcing policy and regulations (e.g., REACH, RoHS, POP, PFAS)
- Lead outsourcing initiatives and support global supplier development, particularly in Asia.
- Perform strategic supply chain assessments (e.g. Kraljic Matrix) to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Commercial, Global Supply and Procurement teams to deliver business objectives.
Who we are looking for
- 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Strategic Sourcing.
- Experience in an international manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical mindset and proactive approach.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of thermal optics or precision manufacturing is an advantage.
- Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally (Europe, North America and Asia).

- Reports directly to the Business Line Manager.
