Overview
Under the direct supervision of the Office Manager Operations Manager, directs, coordinates and controls the clinical activities of his or her staff within an ambulatory clinic setting. Responsible for direct supervision of the clinical staff. Ensures adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assists the Medical Director or the Manager in evaluation of assigned staff. Assists physicians in the provision of quality health care. Assist Director/Manager in ordering capital/new equipment. Assures Clinic has all necessary supplies. Assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patient being served.

Qualifications
Requirements
- GED/High School Diploma or graduate from an accredited medical school
- Medical Assistant Certification or current LPN license to practice in the State of Florida or graduate from an accredited medical school
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- 3–5 years of clinical experience
- Supervisory responsibility for 7+ employees
- Adherence to hospital, JCAHO, HIPAA, nursing standards, and Florida Nurse Practice Act guidelines in providing patient care
- Familiarity with patient care equipment
Preferred
- Associate degree or higher in healthcare or a related field
- Experience in an ambulatory or physician office setting
Necessary Skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of PC word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Demonstrates initiative
- Ability to provide patient care in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines
