The Paralegal provides legal, administrative, and operational support to a centralized, multi-campus healthcare legal department. This position assists with contract reviews, prepares and maintains legal documents and records, conducts legal and regulatory research, and supports attorneys and departmental leadership with a variety of legal and business matters. The Paralegal serves as a key resource in coordinating legal workflows, facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the accurate handling of confidential and sensitive information.
The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Paralegal supports Legal Services through document preparation, contract administration, legal research, project coordination, process improvement initiatives, and other activities that contribute to the efficient operation of the department and achievement of organizational goals.

🎓 Education
Four years post high school education. Two years’ professional office experience in contracts, business or legal services may substitute for two years of post-high school education.
✅ Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of Paralegal experience, preferably within a law firm or in-house legal department. Experience in a healthcare, hospital, or regulated environment strongly preferred.

- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple professionals and managing high-volume, multi-priority workloads. Experience with contract drafting and reviews, document preparation, calendaring, and coordination of meetings in a professional setting. Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
✅ License/Certifications (if applicable):
Paralegal certification preferred
