About this role
Overview
Provides pharmaceutical care services to the patients, physicians and staff of UF Health Central Florida. Is involved in various activities that include, but are not limited to: interpretation of physician orders, maintenance of medication profiles and providing drug information; attendance and involvement in varied medical staff committees/meetings; adverse drug reaction reporting and follow-up, therapeutic interchanges, parenteral nutrition monitoring, pharmacokinetics dosing and follow-up, medication dosing and follow-up (ex. coumadin, antibiotics) and IV to PO recommendations.
Qualifications
Education: - Professional School, College Masters, or more Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Valid Florida Pharmacist License Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
