Coordinates nursing care activities in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to facilitate achievement of overall goals.

Performs other position-related duties as assigned such as audits, IRF assessments, transportation of patients, pick up or cleaning

Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills to develop a rapport with clients, their families, and health team members

Ensure all equipment are in good working condition and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies. Manage emergency equipment and emergency responses

Manage staffing to ensure adequate skill mix for safe patient care. Coordinate break schedules for all staff in the shift.

Applies nursing research to clinical practice and participates in nursing practice committees to meet unit specific goals in a rehab setting.
