About Anvil

Anvil is an in-house game engine developed by Ubisoft that is used across all our studios worldwide to create the company’s most iconic video games. Originally developed for the first open-world Assassin’s Creed game released in 2007, the engine has undergone numerous enhancements to support a wide variety of genres and platforms. Take part in fast-paced 5-on-5 matches in a first-person shooter like Rainbow 6 Siege on PC, or join a mountain sports paradise where 50 players compete simultaneously in Rider’s Republic on the latest generation of consoles… the Anvil engine makes it all possible.

At Anvil, we’re deeply committed to empowering our developers and content creators to build the most innovative, visually stunning, and rewarding games for players. If you join us, you’ll work closely with multiple game teams and help build the game engine using the most powerful services and tools on the market. What are you waiting for? Join the Anvil community!
