Class 5

This position is responsible for washing, drying, and hanging clean laundry bags in designated lockers. Responsibilities include sorting laundry according to assigned areas and locker numbers, transporting laundry carts to designated locations, and hanging laundry bags in lockers. The Laundry Operator will assist team members in locating lost or missing laundry bags and communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and on time. This position requires the ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision while also collaborating as part of a team to meet daily production and service deadlines. Candidates must have good oral communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the ability to bend, twist, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday. The position also requires standing and walking for extended periods.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility

or complex only.

Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Requirements:

Candidates with 6 or more attendance points and/or any suspension in the past 12 months will not be considered. Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Must be able to read, write, and interpret general equipment safety procedures to ensure safety.
