Bengaluru, India · On-site

About this role

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounting Manager to join our Bangalore team. This role impacts core accounting operations for India and supports our global finance and accounting operations — general ledger, statutory compliance, payroll accounting, and audit support — with partnership with global finance, HR, and payroll teams. The ideal candidate has grown up in technology or semiconductor company environments and is comfortable operating through rapid scaling.

What you'll do

Accounting & Financial Operations

  • General ledger accounting, month-end and year-end close
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, accruals (including gratuity and leave accruals), and journal entries
  • Payroll accounting: reconciliation of payroll registers to GL, statutory remittance accounting, and full & final settlement accounting
  • Support intercompany accounting, transfer pricing documentation, and cross-entity cost allocations

Statutory Compliance & Audit

  • Timely and accurate statutory filings and remittances (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, GST as applicable)
  • Coordinate statutory, internal, and SOX audits; audit schedules, walkthroughs, and remediation of findings
  • Internal controls over financial reporting and payroll processes

Business Partnering & Projects

  • Partner with HR/Payroll on compensation and benefits accounting
  • Drive automation and process improvement across accounting and reporting workflows
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance; CA (Inter or qualified), CMA, or MBA (Finance) preferred
  • 7–12 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance operations, ideally within technology, semiconductor, or engineering R&D (GCC/captive) environments, including at least 3 years owning month-end close and statutory compliance independently
  • Strong working knowledge of Indian statutory compliance: direct and indirect tax, labor-law-linked remittances (PF, ESI, PT, LWF), and Companies Act requirements
  • Hands-on experience with payroll accounting and reconciliations
  • Experience supporting SOX compliance and external audits (Big 4 exposure a plus)
  • ERP proficiency: SAP (FI/CO or HCM-Payroll integration), Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday Financials; advanced MS Excel

Note: Candidates currently serving notice or with notice periods < 60 days preferred. Bangalore-based or willing to relocate.

Company at a glance

AI silicon doesn't fail on compute. It fails on the infrastructure around it — power delivery, connectivity, and memory that weren't designed for the scale, speed, and packaging requirements of modern AI systems.
TYLsemi builds the chiplet infrastructure layer that solves this. Purpose-built for XPUs and Networking. Standards-based. Designed to integrate directly into your silicon program — not adapted from something else.

We're hiring across the US and India. Come build what's missing.
