About this role

This position in biodiversity forecasting involves testing hypotheses of global change and extinction risk across landscapes and through time using diverse organisms, including plants and animals.   Location data of species are used to forecast habitats to determine extinction risk, and trait and phylogenetic data are used to model future changes functional and phylogenetic diversity.  To accomplish this, new methods are developed and existing methods are modified using programming language, and computations are accomplished using high-performance computing.
