Process Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)

We are looking for a Process Engineer to support manufacturing process development, new product introduction (NPI), and continuous improvement initiatives for EV components in Malaysia.

What we're looking for:

✅ 3+ years of Process Engineering experience in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry

✅ Experience with EV components such as Battery Packs, Motor Housing, High-Voltage Connectors, Structural Parts, Stamping, Welding, Plastic Injection Moulding, Machining, or Assembly

✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or UG/NX

✅ Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP, Process Flow Diagram (PFD)

✅ Experience with DOE, SPC, MSA, Cpk/Ppk, and statistical process improvement tools

✅ Familiarity with IATF 16949 Quality Management System

✅ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering (IE), PDCA, 8D, 5W1H, CAPA, and SMED

✅ Experience in process validation, new equipment commissioning, Run@Rate, and production support

✅ Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products

✔️ Prepare PFDs, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SOPs

✔️ Lead process validation, DOE activities, and capability improvement

✔️ Support new equipment installation and production ramp-up

✔️ Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement

✔️ Investigate process and quality issues using RCA, 8D, and CAPA methodologies

✔️ Train production teams and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and R&D teams
