Responsibilities:

Skills - Compliance Specialist/IR

  • Support the development and drive HR strategies taking into account business

priorities and the Country HR Initiatives.

  • Diagnose and deliver full talent interventions (quality, diversity, and depth) against

business needs.

  • Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Responsible for administering performance management program.
  • Provide guidance on employee behavior and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints.
  • Define, communicate, and put into effect specific capability requirements for

business units.

  • Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective

investigations when necessary.

  • Engaging with employees and create approach and plan interventions to build

employee morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and

retention.

  • Steer and lead the support services team effectively and deliver to

stakeholders/customers’ expectations, including SPOC to lead resourcing team to

closure of hiring demands.

  • Responsible and driving compliance to laid down country policies and process

guidelines.

  • Generate periodic Reports/Dashboards to the BG’s business & stakeholders.



  • Collaborate with resourcing team to develop & drive effective branding initiatives in

collaboration with Unit stakeholders/ Leaders of the Unit.

  • Channelize and resolve concerns from various stakeholders as well as manage

exceptions with respect to all HR functions.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day

management of employees; collaborate with the corporate legal advisory

department or legal counsel when necessary.

  • Design and implement effective training and development plans.
  • Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional

manner.

  • Measure organizational health and lead appropriate employee engagement and

Transformational strategies

o Leverages internal and external best practice to ensure competitiveness of

employee recognition strategy

o Diagnose and deliver recognition interventions to drive business

performance

Country’s Employee Relations

  • Provide support to HR Managers in facilitating employee relations and

resolving any human resource issues as required with the aim of building a

positive and engaged work environment across ASEAN Countries in

Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

  • Partnering with both senior business stakeholders, solicitor advisory and

local labor relation office and local HR teams to develop and implement

Employee Relations best practices and programs.

  • Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement

to Employee Relations program, applicable employment legislation &

statutory requirements, compliance & data privacy laws (GDPR etc.).



Country’s Compliance Rigor

  • Responsible for assisting with risk and compliance reviews in coordination

to independently review, analyze and conduct effective due diligence and

necessary investigations.

  • Provide support to enable compliance with all required statutes/regulations

pertaining to the compliance responsibility area and compliance period

given above.

Qualifications for HR Business Partner

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management or related field, required.
  • 6+ years of HR experience as HR Business Partner or HR Operations Support.
  • Demonstrated ability in executing training and development programs, employee

engagement programs.

  • Adept with performance management and investigations.



  • Proficiency with employee relations and local labor regulations.
  • Current, in-depth knowledge of in-country legal requirements related to human

resources and employee management, including workers’ compensation, union

relations, country employment laws.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

80% of his/her profile need to be an expert in IR (Industrial Relations)

Have knowledge and experience IR/ER for other countries. This position will be covering Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia

This is an individual contributor role

Must have experience attending court and labor office

Must have experience doing and lodge police report at the station.
