Haul Truck Driver
About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate off-road haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport materials such as overburden, ore, and aggregate throughout the site
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections on equipment
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or hazards promptly
- Maintain compliance with all site safety standards and MSHA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other operators
- Assist with general site duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating haul trucks in a mining, quarry, or heavy civil environment preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- MSHA certification (preferred; may be required prior to start)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
