Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Managed Network & Cloud Security
About this role
LevelBlue reduces risk and builds lasting resilience so organizations can innovate and advance their mission with confidence. As the world’s most analyst-recognized and largest pure-play managed security services provider, LevelBlue elevates client outcomes that matter: stronger defense, faster response, and sustained business continuity. LevelBlue combines AI-powered security operations, advanced threat intelligence, and elite human expertise to provide the most comprehensive portfolio of strategic advisory, managed security, offensive security, and incident response services.
This role owns product marketing for LevelBlue's managed network security and managed cloud security portfolio, including our Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) offerings: SD-WAN, Secure Web Gateway, Firewall-as-a-Service, CASB, and ZTNA. You'll position this portfolio working in partnership with key alliances such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Zscaler, Akamai, and others.
The Role
As Senior Product Marketing Manager for Managed Network & Cloud Security, you'll own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for a portfolio spanning managed firewall, network security, cloud security, and SASE, translating complex networking and cloud security concepts into a story that resonates with network leaders, cloud architects, and CISOs. You'll work cross-functionally with product management, demand generation, sales, and executive stakeholders, and represent this portfolio externally with press, analysts, and customers.
What You'll Do
Messaging, Positioning & Competitive Intelligence
- Positioning: develop and continuously refine core value propositions and messaging for managed network security, managed cloud security, and SASE across buyer personas (network leader, cloud architect, CISO).
- Competitive intelligence: maintain battlecards and win/loss analysis tracking key competitor across MSSPs, Global System Integrators, and other managed network/cloud security competitors.
- Sales enablement: build and deliver pitch decks, FAQs, and training that arm sales and sales engineering with a clear, differentiated narrative for managed vs. self-managed and single-vendor vs. platform approaches.
Campaigns & Demand Generation
- Campaign strategy: partner with demand gen and campaigns teams to plan and launch integrated campaigns across web, email, paid, events, and partner/carrier channels.
- Launch management: lead go-to-market plans for new managed network, cloud security, and SASE capabilities and packaging, coordinating cross-functional launch timelines.
Events & Field Marketing
- Event support: partner with field and events marketing to shape network/cloud security and SASE messaging, speaker content, and booth/demo narratives for industry conferences, regional field events, and executive roundtables.
- Sales kickoffs & activations: develop content and talk tracks for sales kickoffs, partner/carrier events, and customer/prospect field activations.
Thought Leadership & Content
- Thought leadership: author bylines, POVs, and executive talking points on network and cloud security trends (SASE consolidation, zero trust, hybrid cloud security) for press, speaking opportunities, and LevelBlue's own channels.
- Video & script writing: write scripts for product explainer videos, customer testimonials, webinars, and executive interviews.
Customer Marketing & Analyst Relations
- Customer marketing: develop case studies, reference programs, and testimonials that showcase measurable outcomes (risk reduction, consolidation savings, performance gains).
- Analyst relations: brief and manage relationships with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and Frost & Sullivan analysts to support inclusion and positioning in managed network/cloud security market reports.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product marketing experience, with hands-on experience marketing managed network security, managed cloud security, SASE, SSE, or closely related infrastructure security services.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex networking and cloud security concepts into clear, differentiated messaging for technical and executive buyers.
- Track record of building and executing integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with demand gen and sales teams.
- Experience developing competitive battlecards and running win/loss programs.
- Excellent writing skills, with a portfolio of thought leadership content (bylines, blogs, whitepapers).
- Comfortable writing scripts for video and other multimedia formats.
- Experience briefing industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, or similar).
- Experience supporting field marketing and event activations (trade shows, sales kickoffs, executive roundtables) with messaging, content, and speaker support.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who can work effectively with product management, sales, and executives.
- AI fluency: daily, hands-on use of generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to speed up research, drafting, competitive analysis, and content production, treating AI as a way to extend your own bandwidth rather than a novelty.
- Good judgment about where AI accelerates the work and where it doesn't, pairing AI-assisted drafts with the human review, brand voice, and accuracy checks a security company's content requires.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience marketing SD-WAN, SWG, FWaaS, CASB, ZTNA, or broader SASE/SSE offerings at an MSSP, telecom, or network security vendor.
- Familiarity with cloud security posture management (CSPM), cloud workload protection, or hybrid/multi-cloud security concepts.
- Experience marketing in a carrier or telecom-partnered go-to-market model.
- Networking or security industry certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+) are not required but are a plus.
