Senior Strategic Finance Associate

What You'll Do

FP&A & Finance Business Partnering

• Budgeting and forecasting for assigned business lines, and support the annual budget and quarterly forecast process for Group consolidation (rolling forecasts, re-forecasts, and variance analysis).
• Build and track financial and operational models, and scenario analysis, for key partnerships.
• Build and own driver-based financial projection models — linking commercial KPIs and operational data to revenue, cost, and cash-flow outcomes with high forecasting accuracy.
• Any other tasks or responsibilities related to these roles.

Corporate & Strategic Finance

• Build independent business cases for new product launches, partnerships, market entries, and strategic investments across all markets.
• Prepare management reporting materials and board-deck inputs under the direction of the Finance Director and CEO.
• Prepare investor reporting across financial, operational, and financial-inclusion metrics, maintain the virtual data room (VDR).
• Interact with current and potential investors to explain the business, answer diligence questions, and build relationships.
• Support fundraising initiatives across the Group — prepare materials, maintain the data room, coordinate and respond to due-diligence requests, and help drive the process through to close.
• Conduct industry research, including but not limited to market share, growth projections, trends, and competitors.
• Support ad-hoc strategic analysis and special projects as required.

What We're Looking For

Must-have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience across strategic finance, FP&A, finance business partnering, investment banking, private equity/VC, or Big 4 advisory.
• Experience working across multiple markets/geographies — comfortable with cross-border analysis, multi-currency planning, intercompany flows, and transfer-pricing considerations.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (expert-level Excel/Google Sheets); able to build models from scratch and stress-test assumptions.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini) or other BI tools for automation and data visualization.
• Excellent written and spoken English (the role involves daily interaction with cross-border teams).
• Strong communication skills, including comfort in investor-facing and senior-stakeholder settings.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, genuine passion for the work, diligence, sharp numerical sense, strong business/commercial acumen, and an agile, proactive bias for action, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in Fintech or AI-driven businesses.
• Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or VDR / due-diligence processes.
• Experience building pricing, portfolio-economics, unit-economics models, ideally for SaaS / usage-based revenue businesses.
• Professional qualification (CFA / ACCA / CPA) or progress toward one.
