Operations Supervisor
About this role
Position Summary
Oversee the daily operations of a post-acute care practice in Central Texas. Practice providers work in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Collaborate with administrative and clinical leadership to ensure seamless communication between providers and facilities.
- Monitor operational KPIs, staffing coverage, scheduling accuracy, documentation compliance, and service delivery metrics.
- Develop and implement operational policies, workflows, and performance standards to improve efficiency and patient care coordination.
- Support and mentor administrative and operational staff.
Provider Onboarding & Support
- Coordinate onboarding for new providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and ancillary staff.
- Through partnership with Recruitment and Credentialing, facilitate provider orientation, EMR access, training schedules, workflow education, and facility introductions.
- Serve as a primary operational point of contact for new providers during onboarding and transition periods.
Facility Onboarding & Relationship Management
- Conduct facility readiness assessments and ensure operational alignment prior to go-live dates.
- Assist leadership with staffing plans, workflow delegation, and operational training initiatives.
- Promote a collaborative, patient-centered, and accountability-driven culture.
- Coordinate implementation activities including workflow setup, communication protocols, billing integration, documentation processes, and provider scheduling.
- Support ongoing facility engagement, issue resolution, and service optimization initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of management experience in a healthcare organization required
- Excellent communication, customer service and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
