About this role

Position Summary

Oversee the daily operations of a post-acute care practice in Central Texas. Practice providers work in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Collaborate with administrative and clinical leadership to ensure seamless communication between providers and facilities.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, staffing coverage, scheduling accuracy, documentation compliance, and service delivery metrics.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, workflows, and performance standards to improve efficiency and patient care coordination.
  • Support and mentor administrative and operational staff.

Provider Onboarding & Support

  • Coordinate onboarding for new providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and ancillary staff.
  • Through partnership with Recruitment and Credentialing, facilitate provider orientation, EMR access, training schedules, workflow education, and facility introductions.
  • Serve as a primary operational point of contact for new providers during onboarding and transition periods.

Facility Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Conduct facility readiness assessments and ensure operational alignment prior to go-live dates.
  • Assist leadership with staffing plans, workflow delegation, and operational training initiatives.
  • Promote a collaborative, patient-centered, and accountability-driven culture.
  • Coordinate implementation activities including workflow setup, communication protocols, billing integration, documentation processes, and provider scheduling.
  • Support ongoing facility engagement, issue resolution, and service optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of management experience in a healthcare organization required
  • Excellent communication, customer service and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
