The Role

As a Detal Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting dentists and implant surgeons during surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional clinical care throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chairside support during sedation, surgical, and implant procedures

  • Monitoring and assisting patients before, during, and after treatment

  • Maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and cross-infection control

  • Preparing and maintaining surgical and sedation equipment

  • Supporting patient journeys from consultation through recovery

  • Accurate recordkeeping using dental software (Dentally)

  • Working closely with dentists, surgeons, nurses, and front-of-house teams

  • Supporting a safe, compliant, and patient-focused clinical environment

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Dental Nurse certification

  • Sedation Nurse qualification and/or proven experience supporting sedation procedures is desirable

  • Experience working in oral surgery, implant dentistry, or advanced clinical procedures

  • Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety protocols

  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

  • Flexibility to work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday rota participation

  • A reliable, proactive, and team-oriented approach
