About this role
Truly Galway is looking for a qualified Dental Nurse to join our chairside team.
Our Galway clinic runs general, restorative and hygiene appointments alongside regular implant lists. Nurses here are paired with the same clinicians most days, so you build a rhythm with your surgery instead of bouncing between rooms. The team is small enough that everyone knows every patient by name.
What your week actually looks like
Chairside assistance across general, restorative, endodontic and hygiene appointments
Turning surgeries around between patients and running the decontamination cycle end to end
Taking and processing radiographs, if you hold the certificate
Keeping clinical notes accurate and same-day on our practice software
Watching stock levels in your surgery and flagging what needs reordering before it runs out
Settling anxious patients, a real part of the job here, not an afterthought
What we are looking for
Registration with the Dental Council of Ireland, or eligibility to register
At least one year of chairside experience in general practice
Confident spoken and written English
Someone who notices the small things
What we offer
Our Galway clinic is open seven days a week: 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 11am to 6pm on Saturday and 9am to 6pm on Sunday. Nobody works all of that. The clinic is covered by a rotating shift pattern.
Dental Council registration and indemnity paid
Funded CPD and in-house training with our clinical leads
Uniforms provided and staff dental care
How the process works
Apply through this listing with your CV. Every application is read by our recruitment team. If your experience fits, you will hear from us within five working days for a short phone conversation, followed by a visit to the clinic to meet the team and see how we work.
Truly is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from every background.
