Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Senior Welder at our Fort Worth, TX plant.

The Lead Welder position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a Welder at Trinity, you’ll apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual, automatic welding, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment.
What you’ll do:
- Weld (flux core) in all positions
- May TIG or Stik weld (stainless and aluminum)
- Perform out of position weld repairs
- Proficiently perform fillet and groove welds
- Perform flux core vertical welds
- May be certified to weld to tank
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications - External
What you'll need:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Required to pass Senior level welding test.
- Able to make welds to stainless and carbon steel.
- Day or Night Shift
