Description
TBE is seeking a Primavera P6 Scheduler.
The Primavera P6 Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to support successful project planning and execution. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, planners, field personnel, and clients to ensure schedules accurately reflect project scope, resources, milestones, and progress while identifying potential risks and recommending corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
- Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity coding, calendars, logic ties, and resource loading.
- Establish project baselines and maintain schedule revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules based on field reports and project team input.
- Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, float analysis, earned value, and schedule performance metrics.
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and impacts, and recommend mitigation or recovery plans.
- Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Support project planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate schedule reviews with project managers.
- Verify schedule compliance with contract requirements.
- Maintain scheduling standards, templates, and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and provide schedule status updates.
- Collaborate with cost control and project controls teams to integrate schedule and cost information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7–10+ years of project scheduling experience (depending on position level).
- Advanced proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 Professional.
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
- Experience with engineering, construction, transportation, utilities, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau reporting.
- Experience with Primavera Unifier, Oracle Cloud, Deltek, or similar project controls software.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience with schedule risk analysis tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis.
