Your team: At the Operations team we are all about scalability, stability and observability. Our main goal is to seamlessly meet our service level objectives, thus providing a resilient, stable and performant environment for our customers to work with. We are all about maximizing the potential we get out technologies these days such as Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Prometheus-Grafana, Jenkins, Keycloak, the use of multiple cloud providers, and many more related tools but also internal/custom ones.

About you

As a Junior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be able to combine multiple skills you have, with IT engineering practices to create and manage highly reliable systems. you will be able to create perfect harmony and balance between releasing new features and ensuring reliability for users. Standardization and automation are your companions.

What you’ll work on:

• Closely working with Customer Support and Devops teams to define SLA, SLO and SLI to ensure correct expectations to internal and external Customers
• Ensure Production stability 365/24/7
• Deploy, configure and monitor Production
• Automate production validations and reporting
• Incident management and documentation
• Disaster Recovery automations
• Handle MTTR (MeanTime to Respond) and MTTD (MeanTime to Detect)
• Apply proper strategies for ensuring applications have 100% uptime

What we look for:

• Knowledge/experience of Python, with a willingness to learn and improve their skills
• Familiarity with basic code versioning concepts and tools, such as Git
• Basic familiarity with Linux Administration, with a willingness to learn and improve their skills
• Familiarity with web-related technologies, such as Web Applications and Web Services, with a willingness to learn and improve their skills
• Basic familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, with a willingness to learn and improve their skills
• Good problem-solving and communication skills, with a willingness to improve in both areas
• Ability to provide technical assistance with guidance from senior team members
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and environments
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

You’ll stand out if you have:

• Familiarity with any of the following is a plus: Terraform, monitoring tools, SRE/Sysadmin toolchains and methodologies, complex networking solutions, or configuring and managing data sources like Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, ArangoDB, etc.
• Willingness to learn and improve their skills in any of these areas, with the guidance and support of senior team members.
