Team Overview

The Financial Systems team within TransUnion’s Corporate Systems organization is responsible for supporting and enhancing global financial applications and processes across APAC, Africa, India, the United Kingdom, Latin America, and North America. The team delivers high-quality, cost-effective solutions that improve operational efficiency, support key financial processes, and enable informed business decision-making. This role reports to the Senior Director, Business Analyst and plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of TransUnion’s financial systems.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary functional and technical support analyst for the PeopleSoft Finance application, ensuring system stability, performance, and user satisfaction.
  • Support and maintain PeopleSoft Finance modules including Record to Report (General Ledger, Asset Management, Project Costing), Procure to Pay (Purchasing and Accounts Payable), and Order to Cash (Order Management, Billing, Accounts Receivable).
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to analyze business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and define requirements for new capabilities, enhancements, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Manage and resolve user requests related to system navigation, batch processing, reporting, queries, table maintenance, and data management activities.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering, documentation, and analysis to ensure business needs are accurately captured and translated into scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Information Technology teams to prioritize initiatives and maintain project roadmaps that maximize business value.
  • Participate in solution design discussions, identify project dependencies, and contribute to effort estimation activities.
  • Drive the successful delivery of system enhancements and process improvements from concept through implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide guidance on the functionality, usability, and applicability of TransUnion’s financial systems to support effective business operations.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, procedures, training materials, and user guides while leading training sessions that increase end-user self-sufficiency.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • Experience supporting enterprise financial systems, preferably within accounting, finance operations, or Corporate Finance environments, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of financial business processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Purchasing, Billing, and Project Accounting, enabling effective support and process improvement.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements to support system enhancements, process optimization, and project delivery.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business partners and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated expertise will also be considered.

Required Technical Skills

  • PeopleSoft Financials application administration, support, and troubleshooting.
  • PeopleSoft modules including General Ledger (GL), Asset Management (AM), Project Costing (PC), Purchasing (PO), Accounts Payable (AP), Billing (BI), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Order Management (OM).
  • Experience creating and supporting PeopleSoft queries, batch processes, table maintenance, and data management activities.
  • Understanding of system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and change management processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for analysis, reporting, and documentation.

  • Familiarity with financial reporting, compliance, and internal control processes.
  • Experience developing and delivering end-user training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
