In this role, you'll:

Join NSW Motorways that was created as a key recommendation of the 2024 Independent Toll Review. By prioritising the needs of motorists, NSW Motorways is dedicated to delivering a safer, fairer and more integrated transport system. It is also responsible for the oversight, management and strategic coordination of the NSW tolled motorway network.

 

Work as part of the team supporting NSW Motorways to deliver consistent, transparent and accountable decision making across the organisation. This role will see you lead the development of corporate and annual plans, performance reporting frameworks and associated processes to support strategic oversight and regulatory obligations and integrated performance reporting across NSW Motorways,

 

You will drive high‑quality, evidence‑based planning and performance insights by leveraging corporate planning frameworks, business performance data, tolling analytics and customer insights. You will produce executive‑ready reports, dashboards and analysis, enabling informed decision‑making, strengthening transparency and improving strategic performance across NSW Motorways.

About you

You are a senior corporate planning and performance specialist who understands that effective planning and performance insights drives better decisions and outcomes - not just reporting.

 

You are someone who can quickly get across the business, work with ambiguity, and contribute meaningfully from early on.

 

You bring:

  • Extensive experience in enterprise-level planning, performance reporting and data analysis within complex or fast‑paced environments
  • Proven experience developing and enhancing corporate planning and performance frameworks, reporting systems and risk management practices
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret financial, operational and customer data to identify trends, risks and performance gaps
  • A practical, solutions focused mindset – able to translate complex data into clear, decision ready insights and recommendations balancing short term reporting with long term capability uplift
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, preparing executive and ministerial reporting, and operating within complex governance environments
  • Strong prioritisation and leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing demands, work effectively in a matrix environment, and drive continuous improvement
