In this role, you'll:
Work as part of the Operational Quality and Risk Team to deliver and coordinate the implementation, improvement, and assurance of Regional Road Network Maintenance safety, environment, and quality management systems with a strong focus on quality management. The role will provide high level advice and support to all staff and ensures system performance, monitoring, assurance, and reporting is completed as required.
You will work closely with the RRNM Quality & Risk Manager along with other systems managers and coordinators, supporting branch-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability, compliance, and governance outcomes. You will be working in a collaborative manner with operational and corporate stakeholders across the state to ensure alignment and consistency of systems, processes, and assurance activities.
This is a permanent role that supports a statewide operational team. As such applicants may be based at any major RRNM base locations across NSW.
This position will require travel and overnight stays at various onsite locations across the region.

About you
You are a proactive Safety, Environment and Quality Officer that has demonstrated well developed stakeholder management skills and experience managing alliances across Transport.
Your broad experience in leading the implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality management systems in a diverse and dynamic environment will see your success in this role.
You have demonstrated experience in scheduling, conducting, reporting, and monitoring systems audits and the review and implementation of improvement initiatives and internal audits.
