In this role, you'll:


A key member of the Roads and Active Projects team, you'll lead the delivery of complex and high-profile (Road and/or Active Transport) infrastructure projects that connect communities, improve customer journeys and help shape the future of NSW.


Your challenge will be to navigate the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to procurement, contract management and delivery, ensuring projects achieve their safety, quality, budget and schedule objectives while creating lasting community value.


You will lead and empower multidisciplinary teams delivering complex infrastructure projects, providing strategic direction, mentoring project professionals and fostering a culture of safety, innovation and delivery excellence.


Your ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate competing priorities and unite diverse project teams will see you successfully deliver major infrastructure outcomes that create lasting value for communities across NSW.


You can be based at our office in Dubbo, Wagga Wagga, Parkes, Narrabri, Moree (or other Hub West Offices)

About you


Demonstrates strong project leadership capability, with experience guiding project teams, coordinators and contractors across multiple project stages.
 
Brings sound judgement and advanced problem solving skills, particularly in navigating complex technical, statutory or compliance related issues.
 
Possesses solid (Road and/or Active Transport) infrastructure understanding, including working within regulatory, planning or statutory frameworks.
 
Experienced in procurement, contract management, design coordination, project development or delivery within infrastructure or related fields.

An effective communicator, confident presenting complex and persuasive information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences using a range of styles and form.
 

A four-year civil engineering degree from an Australian university or an equivalent overseas qualification acceptable for professional recognition within Australia. 


 
Hold a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver licence and is willing to work outside normal working hours and travel on occasion.
