Data Risk Specialist
About this role
Join the Chief Data Office and play a key role in strengthening Transport’s data and AI risk, compliance, and assurance capability.
Working closely with delivery teams, data stewards, and business stakeholders across Transport, you will help embed practical risk controls, support assurance, and audit activities, and enable the effective management of data-related risks throughout the data lifecycle.
This is a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys solving complex governance challenges, building trusted relationships, and driving a proactive approach to risk management that supports the safe and responsible use of data and AI.
In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering in shaping the scope of strategy road map, data and AI.
This role will see you help enterprise framework assessments, support accountability and senior managers team, helping plug the gap for senior risk management
You will conduct internal risks, audits, and make sure the right frameworks, processes and guidelines are in place.
You will support development policy, guidelines and standards.
You will deal with requests as part of advisory support
coordinating, such as integration requests and functional development framework.

About you
Your strong technical background and IT Cyber skill set formed across large complex environments will see you establish global best practices. You're recognised as someone with hands on, demonstrated practical technical skills experienced in setting standards of data and data sharing.
