In this role, you'll:


Support the delivery of major infrastructure projects by undertaking specialist onsite surveillance of mechanical and electrical works, ensuring installations are delivered safely, compliantly, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.

 

Working closely with project teams and contractors, you will monitor construction quality, track project progress, identify risks and opportunities for improvement, and prepare high quality reports and insights for project and senior management.

 

The role plays a key part in ensuring quality outcomes across complex infrastructure projects, including major transport initiatives.

We have 2 fixed term positions as below working with the Western Harbour Tunnel Team based in North Sydney, NSW: 


1x Ending 30/06/2028


1x Ending 31/12/2027

 

This is a USS8 position $122,570 - $131,527

 

 

About you


Your are experienced in construction surveillance, quality assurance, inspections, or compliance within infrastructure, mechanical, or electrical environments.


Knowledge of electrical systems, switchboards, and associated construction or maintenance activities.


Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience tracking project performance, identifying risks, and providing insights to support decision-making.

 

•    Experience preparing clear, accurate reports and communicating findings to project teams and senior stakeholders.


•    The ability to assess installations against project designs, specifications, standards, and quality requirements.


•    Experience using reporting and analytical tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.


•    A proactive approach to identifying issues, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement.


•    Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, project teams, and delivery partners.
