AI Governance Specialist
About this role
Join the Chief Data Office and help shape the safe, ethical, and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence across Transport.
Working closely with stakeholders across Legal, Privacy, Cyber Security, Procurement, Data and Technology teams, you will support the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, risk controls and assurance processes that enable innovation while managing risk. This is a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys navigating emerging technologies, influencing governance outcomes, and helping embed practical AI governance practices that build trust, transparency, and compliance across the organisation.
In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering in shaping the scope of strategy road map, data and AI specific focus.
This role will focus on supporting senior management and developing best practice for AI regulations. You will provide advisory regarding AI from AI governance perspective. You will support the team in understanding the best strategy in a phase of industry with strong regulations on appropriate use of AI.

About you
Your strong technical background and IT Cyber skill set formed across large complex environments will see you establish global best practices. You're recognised as someone with strong understanding and knowledge on governance specialising around AI.
