Position Overview
The Adventure Center Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Adventure Center. This position works closely with the Adventure Center Manager to ensure smooth, efficient operations while delivering an exceptional guest experience. The Supervisor acts as a hands-on leader, maintaining organization, overseeing inventory and equipment, and serving as a primary face-to-face sales and guest engagement representative.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations Support
- Assist the Adventure Center Manager with all day-to-day duties to ensure seamless operations
- Step in as needed to support all functions of the Adventure Center
- Maintain a high standard of organization, cleanliness, and efficiency across all areas
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Oversee and maintain the Adventure Center “back cage,” ensuring it remains organized, clean, and fully itemized
- Conduct and document inventory checks at least once per week
- Maintain a detailed and accurate inventory of all equipment and supplies
- Ensure all necessary tour documentation is properly stocked, organized, and filed
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure required waivers, forms, and post-tour documentation are readily available, completed, and filed correctly
- Monitor stock levels of all required paperwork and replenish as needed
Vehicle Oversight
- Maintain Adventure Center vehicles to a high standard
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned daily and kept guest-ready
- Confirm all vehicles are fueled at the end of each day
Guest Experience & Sales
Serve as the secondary in-person sales contact for guests on property
- Focus on booking tours for guests during their stay (same-week and short-term bookings)
- Provide knowledgeable, engaging overviews of Adventure Center offerings
- Proactively approach and greet guests to encourage participation in activities
Front Desk & Property Support
- Maintain stock and organization of maps, brochures, and promotional materials at the front desk
- Support guest engagement efforts across the property
Game Room Oversight
- Assist in maintaining and supervising the game room to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and positive guest experience
Shuttle Support (As Needed)
- Assist with shuttle operations when requested by the Front Desk and approved by the Adventure Center Manager
Additional Expectations
- Act as a visible and approachable representative of the Adventure Center
- Ensure every guest has been welcomed, informed, and encouraged to participate in available experiences
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail at all times
- Contribute to a team-oriented, positive work environment
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and guest service abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Familiarity with outdoor recreation or local experiences is a plus
