Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is looking for a Project Manager for a SharePoint Online migration in Germany. This position is 6 months long, with a possibility of follow-on work or extension. This project has an aggressive timeline and success will require top performers in every position.
Job Responsibilities to include:
- Lead and manage a team of SharePoint Administrators, Developers, and IT specialists in support of a complex SharePoint Online migration.
- Develop the overall project plan, including scope, timeline, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Coordinate closely with customers, technical teams, and leadership to ensure alignment with mission objectives and contract requirements.
- Monitor team performance and ensure all migration tasks (planning, assessment, execution, validation, troubleshooting, and post‑migration support) are completed successfully.
- Provide clear communication, status updates, and documentation to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security protocols are maintained in accordance with US Government standards.
- Oversee testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure migrated systems meet functional and operational requirements.
- Enable collaboration and problem resolution within the team, ensuring issues are addressed quickly to maintain project momentum.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
- Required certifications include: IAT Level II; for example Security+ or higher
- Must have three or more of:
- Cloud Migration Experience
- SharePoint Migration Experience
- IT Project Management
- Customer Coordination and Communications
- Web testing and validation Experience
Desired Qualification
- PMP
Education
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent experience, OR An associate’s degree plus 7 total years of recent specialized experience, OR eleven (11) total years of recent specialized experience.
