Position Summary
Townline is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Corporate Marketing & Communications Specialist to support marketing and communications initiatives across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role works across Townline's corporate, development, construction, and housing brands, helping bring projects, campaigns, and company stories to life through compelling content, creative execution, and brand stewardship.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys a mix of content creation, graphic design, social media, digital marketing, and corporate communications. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing copy, developing presentations, creating marketing materials, producing content, and supporting campaign execution across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content strategies, calendars, and plans across Townline Group, Townline Construction (TLC), and TL Housing Solutions (TLHS), while leading the creation and management of content across social media, websites, email marketing, presentations, marketing collateral, and corporate communications.
- Lead content production across Townline's marketing channels, creating written, photography, video, rendering, and other creative assets that showcase projects, people, milestones, construction progress, company culture, and brand initiatives.
- Proactively identify, capture, and share stories across the organization, partnering with internal teams to highlight project progress, company news, achievements, events, employee stories, and industry insights.
- Manage and grow social media channels across Townline, TLC, and TLHS, including content publishing, community engagement, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Lead corporate communications and public relations initiatives, including media monitoring, press releases, corporate announcements, executive communications, thought leadership content, speaking opportunities, and industry visibility programs.
- Coordinate award submissions, sponsorships, community partnerships, industry association participation, and recognition programs that enhance Townline's brand and reputation.
- Manage and maintain website content across Townline, TLC, and TLHS, including company news, leadership profiles, project updates, digital content, and ongoing content optimization.
- Maintain brand consistency across Townline, TLC, and TLHS, ensuring all marketing and communications materials align with established brand standards and guidelines.
- Support corporate marketing initiatives, company-wide campaigns, internal communications, and strategic projects across the organization.
- Partner with Development, Construction, Leasing, Customer Care, Human Resources, and Leadership teams to provide marketing and communications support for departmental initiatives and business priorities.
- Collaborate with agencies, consultants, photographers, videographers, media partners, and other external vendors to deliver marketing and communications programs.
- Monitor campaign and channel performance, prepare reports, and conduct market, competitor, and industry research to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Maintain organized marketing assets, content libraries, templates, and project documentation, while supporting marketing administration and operational requirements.
- Support corporate events, project launches, community initiatives, and special projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, public relations, brand management, or a related role.
- Experience managing social media channels, email marketing, website content, digital advertising, and marketing analytics.
- Experience supporting corporate communications, public relations initiatives, media relations, award submissions, and company announcements.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across multiple audiences, channels, and brands.
- Strong content creation and visual communication skills, including experience producing social media, photography, video, presentation, and marketing assets.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Figma, or similar design tools is an asset.
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in real estate development, construction, housing, property management, or a related industry is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites, events, and industry functions as required.
