Maintenance Technician
About this role
This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Quick Lube Service Technician Responsibilities:
-
Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly
-
Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
-
Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
-
Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
-
Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
Quick Lube Service Technician Requirements:

Ford Certification is a plus
-
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

Knowledge of automobiles

Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications

Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills
-
Positive, friendly attitude

Today, Billy Hays heads the Hays Automotive Group with Town & Country Ford as the flagship store, dealerships in three states, and exciting plans to expand with future dealerships in the surrounding region soon.
A third generation of the Hays family, Justin Hays, has joined his father as Corporate Vice President of the Hays Automotive Group. Justin follows the same belief and vision that our organization is only as good as its people.
We believe that promoting from within the organization is key to building an experienced and loyal staff. In fact, we’re proud to have some of the longest-tenured professionals in the industry. Many of our associates have been with us for 25, 30 even 40 years. CFO Ray Duran 40 years, Secretary and Treasurer Kelly Alvarez 25 years, General Manager Chuck Cain 25 years, and Service Manager Mark Hall 24 years. In addition, several of our sales, service, parts, body shop, and business office staff that have been with us for more than 10 to 20 years.
