We reward strong performance and provide a clear path for continued growth. Level 1 Operations employees who meet or exceed performance expectations are eligible for a $0.50 per hour increase after 90 days of employment and an additional $0.50 per hour increase after 180 days of employment. This provides the opportunity to increase your hourly rate by up to $1.00 per hour within your first six months.

Position Charter

The Machine Operator I is the entry level manufacturing position. The Machine Operator I is responsible for manufacturing products safely and efficiently to support the achievement of company objectives.

Reporting Relationships

The Machine Operator I reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Follow all process documents, such as work instructions, procedures, inspection criteria. Report results in appropriate Quality Management System (QMS) and communicate non-conformances to leadership.
Manufacture products in alignment with defined output standards as measured by daily operational efficiency.
Demonstrate flexibility of schedule when pursuing training opportunities to achieve personal and company objectives.

Understands and adheres to all safety requirements. Communicates identified risks to leadership and assists in resolution.
Completes all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Contributes to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct. Maintains a positive attitude, displays enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicates effectively and professionally with team members.
Other related duties.

Education

High school diploma or GED.
Trade or technical school experience is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.
Ability to read and understand process documents.
Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a regular and routine basis.
Frequent bending and twisting required.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by process.
