Lead financial planning, business operations, and inventory strategy across Direct-to-Consumer (Retail, Outlet, and E-commerce) and Wholesale channels throughout Europe and the Middle East, driving profitable growth and operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional leadership.

A Day in the Life:


Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end financial planning processes, including sales, margin, inventory, and profitability forecasting across multiple business units.
  • Develop and manage top-down and bottom-up plans, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts to proactively react to actualized trends while continuing to work towards corporate inventory and sales targets
  • Partner closely with Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale, Buying, and Finance leadership teams to align commercial strategies, revenue targets, and inventory investments.
  • Provide insightful monthly business reviews, presenting performance on sales, margin and inventory
  • Lead Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes, assortment planning, inventory flow, markdown optimization, and forecasting processes to maximize sales, margins, and inventory productivity across all channels and categories
  • Define inventory flow of transfers across all channels to maximize higher margin selling
  • Review AIR processes to assess quantity to air and related risk and cost impact
  • Implement cross-channel inventory optimization initiatives and liquidation strategies, improving inventory efficiency, reducing aged stock, and enhancing overall profitability.
  • Lead the operations of friends and family sales for stock liquidation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field;
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Planning, Merchandise Planning, Business Analytics, Finance, or Inventory Management within retail, luxury, fashion, or consumer goods.
  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing planning teams across multiple markets and channels.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, inventory management, Open-to-Buy (OTB), and demand planning.
  • Experience supporting Retail, E-commerce, Outlet, and Wholesale business models within an international environment.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including executive-level business reviews.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and planning systems; MicroStrategy and SAP knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and commercially driven environment.
