Tokio Marine HCC – Surety Group, a member of the Tokio Marine Group of Companies, has an opportunity for an Office and Facilities Coordinator at our Los Angeles, CA home office.
Key Responsibilities
The Office and Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for office administration, facilities management, safety and security, event coordination, and reception support.
Performance Objectives and Timeline
- During the first 30 days: Learn office and reception operations, the names, departments, functions and locations of our employees, and mail and delivery processes; learn building maintenance protocols; maintain breakroom and supply areas including light cleaning.
- During the first 3 months: Plan events and activities including vendor research, set-up/clean-up; serve as the primary contact with property management; handle maintenance issues and perform basic preventive maintenance; distribute materials for company events; coordinate Fire Life Safety Team drills; provide backup reception support as needed.
- During the first 6 months and beyond: Liaise with Human Resources for ergonomics and workplace safety issues, assist with projects for various departments.
Experience & Education Qualifications
- Two or more years of relevant and progressive experience

- Teamwork, planning and organizational skills
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Systems and information: Facility with using photocopiers, postage machines, and/or telephone switchboard is a plus
- Educational requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree is a plus
For candidates working in person in Los Angeles, the reasonable pay range for this specific position is $25.44 to $34.97 per hour. The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
