Role Overview

Join our Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) team and support the preparation and delivery of financial information used for management decision-making, regulatory reporting, and reporting to Tokio Marine HCC's parent company in Japan. This role provides hands-on experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, process improvement, and reporting technologies. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new systems, and leveraging automation and AI tools to improve the efficiency and quality of financial reporting processes.

  • Interest in leveraging automation, data analytics, and AI to improve financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and supporting internal and external financial reporting for Executive Management, the Board of Directors, regulators, rating agencies, and the parent company.
  • Prepare, maintain, reconcile, and document recurring financial reports and supporting schedules.
  • Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and identify unusual results.
  • Collaborate with business units and corporate departments to gather information for consolidated reporting.
  • Support external and internal audit requests by preparing accurate documentation and explanations.
  • Assist with development, maintenance, testing, and documentation of automated reports.
  • Explore and leverage automation, reporting technologies, and AI tools to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and streamline financial reporting processes.

What You Bring

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • CPA designation track preferred.

Experience

  • Up to two years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting preferred.
  • Experience using reporting, data analysis, or automation tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with generative AI or AI-assisted productivity tools preferred.
