Job Requirements

Role Summary

The Production technician is responsible for performing precision soldering and brazing operations on metal eyewear frame components as per quality standards and production requirements. The role involves hands-on work in soldering/brazing, machine operations.

Key Responsibilities

Read and understand technical drawings, work instructions, and process specifications.

Prepare components for soldering by cleaning, aligning, and positioning parts accurately.

Operate soldering equipment

Inspect soldered joints for strength, appearance, alignment, and dimensional accuracy.

Rework defective joints and correct quality issues when required.

Maintain production targets while adhering to quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of soldering equipment and workstations.

Report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and quality concerns to supervisors.

Follow all safety procedures related to gas handling, heat sources, chemicals, and PPE usage.



Work Experience

ITI/NTTF

2–5 years of in soldering operations, preferably in eyewear in metal frame manufacturing

Knowledge of soldering

Ability to handle precision components and small assemblies.

Good communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Teamwork and collaboration

Discipline and reliability.

Ability to identify defects in product.
