The Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Retail Director is a key member of the ANZ Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for executing the retail strategy, performance, and operations across Australia and New Zealand.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a network of luxury retail stores, partner with an experienced leadership team, and drive commercial performance while delivering an exceptional client experience.
About the Role
As Retail Director, you will lead the execution of the retail strategy for the ANZ market. You will work closely with Store Leaders and cross-functional partners to drive sales growth, strengthen client relationships, develop talent, and ensure operational excellence across the region.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading retail performance across Australia and New Zealand, with accountability for sales, profitability, productivity, and operational outcomes.
- Developing and executing strategic business plans, forecasts, budgets, and people plans.
- Coaching and developing Store Leaders to maximise performance and build leadership capability.
- Driving client development initiatives and ensuring the delivery of exceptional Tiffany client experiences.
- Partnering with key stakeholders across Client Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, Merchandising, and Operations to deliver market objectives.
- Identifying growth opportunities and implementing initiatives that enhance business performance.
- Leading and embedding company-wide programs, priorities, and retail excellence initiatives.
- Maintaining a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
About You
- Significant senior retail leadership experience, ideally within luxury retail, jewellery, fashion, hospitality, or a premium customer-focused environment.
- A proven track record of leading multi-site retail operations and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in developing high-performing leadership teams.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing large budgets and sales targets.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on leadership approach.
- The ability to influence, inspire, and lead teams through change.
- Flexibility to travel regularly across Australia and New Zealand.
