About this role

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 12 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW-Investment Ops Analyst I
The Investment Operations Analyst assists with operational activities for the investment function, supporting the management of capital on behalf of pensions, endowments, corporate plan sponsors, and other institutional investors. Working under close supervision, this job assists with various operational processes pertinent to trade processing, settlements, securities transfer and record maintenance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Performs basic asset management operational processes including trade processing, settlements, and securities transfers, ensuring quality, accuracy and completeness.
  • Researches basic investment account issues and resolves routine issues.
  • Examines documents for missing or invalid data.
  • Monitors investors accounts and coordinates with custodians and external managers.
  • Prepares financial statements and performance reports for investors.
  • Maintains compliance documentation to help ensure compliance with investment restrictions, laws, Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), and tax codes.

The RE Operations team support commercial real estate investment activities across the platform. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of commercial real estate process and operations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support property and asset management operations among all sectors within Nuveen Real Estate Americas

  • Collaborate within the team to on and offboard investments

  • Work with the team to create an organized document repository system

  • Assist with updates to NRE policies and procedures

  • Monitor requirements for key risk areas are completed fully and on time

  • Assist with contact management and communication protocols with third party property management firms

  • Collaborate cross functionally with Asset Management, Accounting, Legal and various shared service groups within Nuveen

  • Identifies increased efficiencies and organization within real estate processes

  • Liaison between marketing and NRE to ensure communication strategy is effectively executed

Base Pay Range: $35.15/hr - $49.28/hr
