As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by identifying, attracting, and hiring talented clinical and administrative professionals who are passionate about making a difference. You'll partner with hiring managers, build strong talent pipelines, represent Thresholds in the community, and create an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds awareness of Thresholds Community Mental Health mission and our career opportunities through participation in job fairs, educational institution partnerships, community events and professional organizations and utilization of creative recruitment techniques and marketing efforts.
- Manage the recruitment process which may include initial assessments, presentation of qualified candidates to hiring managers, interviews, selection, offer and follow-up.
- Provides full cycle recruitment and customer service support to applicants and internal hiring managers
- Works with internal departments and hiring managers to assist with recruitment efforts. Effectively building working partnerships with these teams and hiring managers so that TM is an integral part of the interviewing and hiring process.
- Identify and sourcing appropriate talent for current open clinical and administrative roles.
- Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing to develop a talent pool.
- Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
- Manage the organization’s internship programs for the talent function.
- Develop relationships with and managing third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms.
- Other duties as assigned.
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with general Talent Management projects and activities as needed.
- May be required to travel to other Thresholds locations as needed.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in recruiting. Previous healthcare or social service experience preferred.
- Experience using LinkedIn recruiter, Indeed Smart sourcing, and other online platforms
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems.
- Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools.
- Must be able to handle high volume recruiting and multiple searches simultaneously.
SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS
- PHR/SPHR preferred but not required.
