Job Summary

The Hampton Inn and Suites is looking for a room attendant to add to our strong housekeeping team! We are looking for those who are willing to develop our team culture, utilizing their skills to create an environment dedicated to thoughtful and attentive service with a focus customer experience.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for those who can keep our hotel clean and in orderly condition while maintaining a customer first attitude. Your job is to ensure standards of cleanliness in assigned guest rooms are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis. You will need to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service within established time limitations. You'll need the ability to create a motivating work environment to perform heavy cleaning duties and perform routine maintenance activities. You must have a strong passion for excellence and guest service. Strive to continuously evolve and improve your performance in order to provide a high standard of service for all guests each and every day.

  1. Celebrate our culture of individualism, engagement, having fun and evolving the Hampton Inn and Suites experience for every guest every time.
  1. Represent the hotel in a positive manner at all times.
  1. Clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
  1. Change linens, make beds, and clean the bathroom.
  1. Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
  1. Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
  1. Monitor and handle guest complaints following guest services training procedures and ensure guest satisfaction, immediately reporting any complaints to the supervisor.
  1. Assume all responsibilities as delegated by the manager and do any or all other duties that may be required to fulfill customer needs and requests
  1. Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
  1. Exemplify the hotel's Standard Code of Conduct and all other regulations established by management and Employee Handbook.
  1. Knowledge of the process for providing customer and personal service.
  1. Provide service to others and work with co-workers in a friendly non-competitive environment. Corresponding needs are Co-workers, Moral Values and Social Service.
