About You:
PureGrid Electrical is an industrial electrical contractor supporting medium-to-heavy industrial projects nationwide. Our field teams value safety, productivity, clean execution, and electricians who can work from plans and drive quality installation in the field.
PureGrid is looking for a Journeyman Electrician with commercial and industrial electrical experience who can perform all electrical tasks with general supervision. This role is intended for a licensed journeyman who can read blueprints, terminate cable, install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings.
A Day in the Life:
- Work with your tools and perform all electrical tasks with general supervision.
- Read blueprints and drawings to support installation, rough-in, and field execution.
- Install bus feeders.
- Size wire and conduit for installation needs.
- Complete switchgear installation and termination.
- Perform layout and preparation for installation.
- Support underground layout and rough-in work.
- Troubleshoot motors and controls in the field.
- Apply safe work practices, maintain productivity, and support quality execution on active jobsites.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Current journeyman electrical license.
- Ability to perform all electrical tasks with general supervision.
- Ability to read blueprints, terminate cable, and install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings.
- Sufficient rough-in capability and field experience exceeding the electrical helper classifications.
