Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
About this role

- Adheres to all Department and Company Standards and Operating Procedures.
- Completes work orders, preventive maintenance, corrective repairs and other written or computer-based documents.
- Ability to learn and utilize software to include CMMS Systems, graphical interfaces, and other applicable programs.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, Electrical/Mechanical Schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multi-meter, laptop)
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and motor control problems on equipment with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), soft starts, servo drives, and external input / output (I/O) devices.
- Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyor equipment, material handling equipment, manufacturing equipment, facility assets, and PIT (Powered Industrial Truck).
- Ability to work at heights from ladders and aerial lifts.
- Ability to work on the exterior of the site and within a non-climate controlled environment.
- Ability to complete additional tasks and requests as needed from the site’s Leadership Team.

This position does require standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time, continuous use of hands, twisting, bending, and stooping to perform tasks. Duties also include being able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to effectively communicate issues to not only other team members but as well as to the operational team.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience and/or education in the industrial maintenance field.
- Preferred experience in a Fulfillment, Distribution or Manufacturing facility supporting maintenance activities on conveyor systems, manufacturing systems and other material handling equipment.
