Position Overview:

As a TacSRT Operator, you serve as a mission executor within the JCO’s TacSRT enterprise. This role supports the execution of Operational Planning Products (OPPs) by translating operational queries into commercially sourced, time-bound deliverables that support joint military warfighter decision-making. TacSRT Operators work on the virtual operations watch floor and coordinate closely with JCO TacSRT leadership, mission partners, and commercial providers.

The Operator applies sound analytic judgment and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) tradecraft to ensure commercial capabilities are aligned with operational requirements and requester intent. This position plays a key role in maintaining tempo, quality, and responsiveness across the TacSRT mission set, particularly during periods of increased operational demand.

This role offers an opportunity to directly contribute to real-world operations and exercises while developing deeper expertise in commercial capability integration and operational planning support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support validation and refinement of incoming TacSRT requests to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment with operational timelines.
  • Coordinate with commercial providers to support tasking execution and delivery of required products.
  • Perform quality control and validation of vendor deliverables to ensure relevance, accuracy, and operational utility.
  • Maintain situational awareness of assigned efforts and update task status within JCO tracking and collaboration tools.
  • Communicate effectively with TacSRT leadership, mission partners, and vendors throughout the OPP lifecycle.
  • Adhere to established TacSRT workflows, quality standards, and operational procedures.
  • Support real-world operations and exercises concurrently, as mission demands require.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience within joint strategic or operational environments.
  • Experience supporting Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations, collection management, GEOINT analysis, or All-Source Intelligence production.
  • Understanding of commercial imagery capabilities and operational decision-support timelines.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in high-tempo environments while collaborating across distributed teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting CCMDs, Space Components or Joint Operations Centers conducting real-world operations and military exercises.
  • Experience and familiarity with the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
  • Formal imagery analysis or GEOINT training, such as National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) tradecraft courses or equivalent Service-level intelligence training.
  • Familiarity with structured analytic standards, including ICD 203 and 206.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM), the U.S. Space Force, and their component relationships.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Geospatial Intelligence, or related field highly desired.
