The Learning Experience in Enfield is seeking a positive, passionate, organized, energetic and team-oriented Curriculum Coordinator to lead curriculum implementation and mentor teacher development.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support implementation of the TLE curriculum throughout all classrooms
  • Implementation and coaching of teachers of our L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
  • Coach, train, mentor, and model best practices for teachers daily
  • Model, coach, and collaborate on the use of differentiated materials and instructional strategies.
  • Coach teachers on effective planning, instruction, and assessment of the curriculum
  • Collaborate with teachers on lesson plan design and implementation
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide ongoing feedback and support
  • Support lesson planning, curriculum preparation, and classroom environments
  • Ensure classrooms maintain developmentally appropriate practices and school readiness standards
  • Build strong relationships with families through communication, conferences, and engagement opportunities
  • Support onboarding and training of new teachers
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, accreditation, and TLE operational standards
  • Assist leadership team with transitions, classroom support, and school-wide initiatives
  • Participate in family events, trainings, and leadership meetings
  • Must be flexible with scheduling needs, including opening, closing, and occasional extended hours based on school needs
  • Provide ongoing support of when needed in the classroom
  • Ability to supervise, support and evaluate teachers
  • Work with management in ordering curriculum supplies

QUALIFICATIONS AND STRENGTHS

  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills to lead teachers, communicate with parents, and wit center management.
  • Knowledge of best practice in instruction and assessment;
  • At least 1 year minimum of experience working in the classroom environment, as a teacher (2+ years preferred)
  • Administrative experience in curriculum/instruction preferred
  • Ability to speak effectively before administrators, staff, parents and students
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive and respectful working relationships with students, staff and the community
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form
